Toilet paper rolls. We all use them. They end up in the recycling bin, or worse, the trash. What else can we do with the cardboard tubes that hold our toilet paper? I've been thinking about that question since the day I started saving empty toilet paper rolls several months ago. (And several years ago, I would've thought this idea was crazy!)
I knew there would come a time when I wanted to round up other crafters and see what kind of projects we can make with toilet paper rolls. That time is now.

ReplyDeletesaw this and thought of you...
Oh I had the perfect project for this but have just discovered that I never took ANY photos of it... in 2009 my son had a "Lords and Ladies" birthday party... they created their own castles using recycled cardboard and four toilet rolls (this was an idea I found on the internet)... it worked very well.... the kids had LOTS of fun creating stuff.
ReplyDeleteI did it! I created something and linked it up. :-)
ReplyDeleteHowever, it's on the WM blog and not mine. I'll try to get it up on my blog with the link button which would be better for the link to your challenge I think. But I just wanted to shout out that I did it!
Love your darling TP bunnies and hope to post my wonderful TP mini-albums! I've NEVER posted before but will give it a try. It would be great to recycle and save the EARTH!
ReplyDeleteI've given classes at crops on how to quickly make these cute minis as well as making them for gifts. It's a great project for watching TV…and even non-crafty friends liked to make them (at a Girls' Weekend!)
I thought I'd have a go at this as I use tp tubes from time to time. I love a good recycling project.
ReplyDeleteI taught a class at my monthly crop using recycled toilet tube rolls. The gurls had a blast making it and they came out soooo cute. Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome prize.
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful vintage album made by Charlene. Would have never thought this was toilet paper rolls. It also has plenty of space for pictures and journling. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Great ideas everyone! I just linked up mine.
